Having your own digital products is a great way to make more online. It’s something I’ve been doing for well over 10 years now.
Here are a few ways to make sure you’re not leaving any money on the table, when you’re creating them.
#1 – Sell Resell Rights
This is one of my personal favourites.
Once you have your product set up and selling, offer the rights for others to sell the product too.
This generally takes 1-2 hours at most to set up and email out to your buyers (or your entire list).
They get the product, sales page and delivery page.
You get more profit for very little extra work.
#2 – Recruit Affiliates
This can be done with or without step #1 but works better if you do this first.
All you need to do is add your product to a popular platform like WarriorPlus or JVZoo and then go out and ask people to promote it for you.
You can also add the product to Muncheye.com a week before you launch it. That will get the attention of quite a few affiliates.
Pay them 50-75% per sale of your front end product.
This allows you to get sales and build your buyers list, without doing any marketing.
#3 – Have A Follow-Up Email Sequence
Before you launch, create a series of 3-10 follow-up emails.
These can be promoting your other products or simply promotions for other people’s products.
Set one to go out each day and don’t send any broadcast emails to this list during that period.
I did this on my last launch and it brought in $594 dollars from just one product.
#4 – Flip The Whole Thing
This is something I don’t see many marketers doing but it can be very profitable.
All the need to do is sell the domain name, sales pages and rights to the product on a site like Flippa.com
This means you cannot sell it yourself but it can get you a nice chunk of change once your launch has died down.
I’ve done this up to the tune of $20,000 for one product.
If you’re creating and releasing products on a regular basis, be sure to give 1 or more of these a go to increase the amount you make.
