I must admit, I really LOVE affiliate marketing.
The ability to make money without having to create a product, deal with customers, ship items out, process payments and all the other headaches is just plain awesome!
The model I have followed mainly until now has been promoting Amazon products. I’d build a niche website, add Amazon affiliate links, rank the website in Google and then sell the website when it was making money.
I’ve done this HUNDREDS of times.
But recently, as you know if you’ve been following this blog, I’ve also started more mainstream affiliate marketing too.
This typically goes something like this:
Squeeze page => Build a list => Provide Value => Promote Products
Some people get this horribly wrong and focus more on promoting than on actually providing value. So they fail miserably and don’t know why.
